Double-Babel
Politicians babble, and many of us think it is in some foreign tongue. What if their babble was translated at the Tower of Babel, and then translated back to us into real English? Well, this is kind of what we would get. It makes about as much sense as most of the orginial speeches and transcripts.

John Kerry speaks at the Democratic National Convention with some sort of fire in his gut that he could not muster four years ago. It is even more firy double-babel'd!
John McCain's comments on energy costs are entertaining reading now that they have been double-babel'd through multiple languages.
For a break from politics I thought a look at management double-speak or meaningless corporate propaganda in mission statements would be fun. In a quick search for "business solutions consulting" the results were fantastic!
- CSC was one of the first hits (ironically for a company with technology solutions, their Web site was tragically slow).
- The UNiSYS Company Profile reads as bland as lettuce. A little Chinese double-babel spiced it up.
